About Us
Boondocks Vintique Upcycled Art Store is a small locally owned shop specializing in Upcycled Art, Metal Art, and Tank Windchimes. All are unique and one-of-a-kind! Our journey began with a heartfelt mission: to give new life to forgotten treasures while cleaning out our family’s estates. What started as a labor of love, sorting through decades of belongings, turned into a creative escape and a new purpose.
Solace was found in transforming old, discarded items into whimsical Upcycled Art, Metal Art and Tank Windchimes. My husband and I support each other and collaborate often on designs and new ideas. Our unique vision for discarded items began in the early 2000’s and has continued to this day. Our skills have improved and grown over the years. (Plus it helps that we each have our own workspaces!) 2023 we jumped into a local Saturday Market and spent the summer as a vendor with our Metal Art and Tank Windchimes. After that year of success, we knew we could grow our shop and now we have a store front located in Ocean Park, WA and an online presence.
We are the only Upcycled Art store on the peninsula and the surrounding areas!
Today, Boondocks Vintique Upcycled Art Store offers a unique variety of Upcycled Art, Metal Art, Tank Windchimes, Yard Art and Home Décor—from Metal Art frogs and dragonflies made from horseshoes to custom Tank Windchimes made from scuba tanks, oxygen, carbon fiber tanks and fire extinguishers. Many of our materials are sourced from picking yard and estate sales, roadside clutter, junk that finds us and being invited to pick a barn or shed ensuring each piece is truly one of a kind. Upon occasion, people will find us and bring us treasures to upcycle. We believe nothing needs to go to the dump!

Our metal art is handcrafted with heart and grit by a skill learned over decades. We put our talent into every weld, grind, and polished detail.
Welded items from used horseshoes, rebar, and other salvaged finds transform into bold, lasting pieces that are left natural to patina, or they head to the paint booth for color, design and whimsy. Each item is a labor of love, built to stand out and stand the test of time.

Tank Windchimes

By far our most popular bell, this classic captures the ocean side lifestyle.
Once used to hold pressure, now repurposed to bring peace—our tank windchimes are crafted from expired scuba, oxygen, carbon fiber tanks, fire extinguishers and small kegs that can no longer be used safely. Instead of ending up in the landfill, these materials are transformed into striking outdoor art. Each bell carries a story and lets out a deep, grounding tone that adds character to any space. They’re rugged, elegant, and made with intention.
